Review, Reflect and Grow

It is that time of the year again, when we pause to review, reflect and renew.  Some say it is time to press the reset button.  Whatever time we use or no matter how we approach it, we often tend to set change goals at this season and ponder strategies for success in the coming year.

Success is directly related to growth.  What is your growth focus for the next year and what are your strategies to make sure that happens?

Change denotes a movement from one situation, one process, one habit etc.  Change is not complete except you replace it with something else. You cannot change a behavior, a habit or process without replacing with something else. Change leads to growth and growth requires change.

Sometimes we are unsure where to begin or who to go about personal and leadership growth.

As you reflect on the past year and aim to redirect your focus to your true north, there are tools that can help you in that process.  Staying committed to our development goals is often where the challenge comes.  People start off with great momentum and fire fizzles out after a few weeks and months.  How will you hold yourself accountable and stay true to your goals and commitments?

AT Authentic Transformations, we have developed a 5-step leadership behavior transformation process called the Reflect and RenewTM  that captures the core actions in leadership and personal growth as a journey.

The goal of The 5-R step program is to get you as an individual to be intentional in your growth and change process, to stay on course and to own your development journey.  These are review, recognize, reflect and renew.

Review – explores self-awareness and purpose.  Sample questions include who am I?

what is my mission?

Recognize – explores current situation

where am I on my journey/goals?

What have I learnt?

Reflect – what do I see?

Renew – Asks what changes are required and how do I go about it?  How do I stay intentional and motivated.

Of course, the implementation is more than these mere questions.  Growth is a journey.  Seeing how you have grown or how you can grow, what you have accomplished and what you can accomplish fuels the energy to keep growing.  This is what the Reflect and Renew program helps you achieve.  If you would like to know more about the Reflect and Renew program or incorporate it into your team development, schedule a discovery session below.
